2020 Mazda CX-9 Grand Touring vs Signature trim
If you are interested in the 2020 Mazda CX-9, then know that all four trim levels come with a huge number of features. In fact, high-tech stuff like smart city brake support, radar cruise control, and lane-keep assist all come standard on every 2020 Mazda CX-9 model. But what about the top two trims, namely the Signature and Grand Touring? Find out what these two trims have to offer with our 2020 Mazda CX-9 Grand Touring vs Signature trim comparison.
Features of the 2020 Mazda CX-9 Grand Touring
The Grand Touring trim for the 2020 Mazda CX-9 is perhaps the largest value jump of the pack. So many features get added to the already feature-packed SUV at this trim level. On the outside, you will notice 20” wheels with a bright silver finish, automatic folding side mirrors, aluminum roof rails in satin chrome, adaptive front lighting, LED fog lights, and more, but that’s just for starters.
The big changes come on the inside. You’ll get to enjoy a power-sliding moonroof, LED interior lighting, parking sensors in the front and rear, heated second-row seats and steering wheel, ventilated front row seats, and a hand’s free power liftgate. The infotainment system also adds navigation, a 360-degree view monitor, and Sirius XM satellite radio. You even get to listen to that fresh music with a Bose premium sound system.
What does the Signature trim add to the 2020 Mazda CX-9?
With all those impressive Grand Touring features, what does the Signature trim bring to the party? To begin with, though the Grand Touring trim has AWD as an available option, the Signature trim is only available with AWD. On the outside, the 20” wheels now feature a dark silver finish and you also get Signature badging along with LED grille accent lighting.
Inside, you will be greeted with Nappa leather seating, LED overhead accent lighting, and genuine Santos rosewood inlays. The biggest change comes by way of the second-row captain’s chairs which are not only exclusive to the Signature trim but new to the 2020 model year. This does mean that the Signature trim has its passenger capacity reduced from seven down to six, but it also means that your second-row passengers get to enjoy almost as much luxury as your front-row passengers.
