Is the Mazda CX-5 turbo available with AWD
Sometimes the better engine isn’t always available with the better features. That is far from the case with the 2019 Mazda CX-5. In fact, the Grand Touring Reserve and Signature trims which come with the 2.5-liter turbo engine both include AWD as a standard feature. This makes these trims especially ideal for winter driving, though AWD is available on all the other trims as well.
Fuel efficiency of the Mazda CX-5 turbo
A turbo is a great way to get extra power without making large sacrifices in efficiency. It’s like getting the power of a V6 with the efficiency of a regular four-cylinder engine. The Mazda CX-5 with a turbo and the standard AWD utilizes a super-smooth automatic 6-speed transmission to give you 22-city mpg and 27-highway mpg. For comparison, the fuel economy for non-turbo Mazda CX-5 models with AWD is 24-city and 30-highway mpg.
Does the 2019 Mazda CX-5 turbo come with sport mode?
Everyone loves Mazda sport mode, and it would be a shame if the turbo engine did not include this wonderful feature. Luckily, it does. With just a flick of a switch, your throttle response and shifting points are adjusted to give you a more aggressive and sportier ride.
