Will the 2019 Mazda3 be available as a hatchback or sedan?
Since the first generation of Mazda3 models first debuted in 2003, the model has been available as both a sedan and a hatchback. That much isn’t changing for the all-new model coming for 2019. You will still get to decide between a sporty hatchback or a versatile sedan with this new fourth-generation model.

Some of the key exterior elements of the Mazda3 are staying the same for the 2019 model year. You still get the signature Mazda grille that is featured in some way on every current Mazda model except the latest Mazda MX-5 Miata. The revised way that the headlights integrate with the chrome “mouth” of the grille is simply divine.
Swinging around back you still see stylish and bold taillights that really accentuate the futuristic look of the car. Perhaps the most striking detail of the 2019 Mazda3 exterior is the meaty c-pillar on the back of the hatchback model. There isn’t another hatchback that looks like the 2019 Mazda3 hatchback from any angle.

On the inside, you’ll notice some wonderful color options including a brilliant Burgundy color. There is also a new fabric color called Greige, which Mazda describes as a color that “combines the cool tones of gray with the soft feel of beige to create a pleasing sensation of vitality and warmth.”
Another key feature to notice on the inside is that massive touchscreen. It comes in an ultra-wide format and measures 8.8 inches across. Mazda has always been a proponent of keeping its screens up high so that information can be displayed close to the driver’s eye-line, but this screen executes on that concept in a more elegant and beautiful way than ever before.
