Will the Mazda CX-9 have Apple CarPlay and Android Auto?
If you’ve been following Mazda news, then you may have heard that the 2018 Mazda6 is getting an upgrade with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto in the coming months, but what about the 2019 Mazda CX-9? Turns out, you have nothing to worry about.
The Mazda CX-9 Touring trim and above will come standard with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for 2019. Now you can take advantage of a huge number of connectivity options right from your 8-inch MAZDA CONNECT™ infotainment screen.
New additions to the Grand Touring trim level
The Mazda CX-9 has four trim levels available for 2019. The lineup starts with the Sport and continues with the Touring, Grand Touring, and the top Signature trim. Though many of these trims will see improvements for 2019, it’s the Grand Touring trim that’s seeing the most significant changes.
In the Grand Touring, the gauge cluster is replaced by an innovative and smart 7-inch configurable screen that Mazda fans may recognize from the 2018 Mazda6. Along with that, drivers can also enjoy ventilated front seats, power-folding side mirrors, and a new 360-degree view monitor system that will provide a bird’s eye view of your surroundings. All of this is new for 2019.
When will the 2019 Mazda CX-9 be available?
Mazda recently announced that the latest Mazda CX-9 would start hitting dealership lots in early September of 2018.
