Impressively, the 2019 Mazda CX-5 has an available turbo engine under the hood. It’s the same great 2.5-liter turbo engine that can be enjoyed in the Mazda CX-9. That means it gives you up to 250 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque.
If you want a little more efficiency, you can still get the non-turbo 2.5-liter engine that gives you 187 horsepower and 186 pound-feet of torque. Both options are wonderfully efficient and immensely fun.
The Toyota RAV4 is trying to keep up with the modern era, but its’s already falling behind. For 2019, the Mazda CX-5 enjoys both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as available features. The 2019 Toyota RAV4 cannot make that same boast.
The Mazda CX-5 also enjoys available SiriusXM Travel Link Services which lets you see live fuel prices, movie times, sports scores, weather, and more! Stay connected and informed with the 2019 Mazda CX-5.
Amazingly, the Toyota RAV4 does not offer leather at any trim level. Instead they offer SofTex, which is really just a fancy way of saying leatherette. If you really want leatherette, then you can get it on the Mazda CX-5 Touring. Above that though, you only get genuine leather.
Both the Grand Touring and the Grand Touring Reserve give you genuine leather seating, and the top Signature trim does one better with real Nappa leather seats.
