2024 MAZDA CX-90 Overview & Highlights
Mazda’s most popular premium three-row SUV, the Mazda CX-9, is getting a complete do-over, and a big one. No longer will the Mazda CX-9 be the Mazda CX-9, but instead it is set to be replaced by the Mazda CX-90 after the conclusion of 2023. The 2024 Mazda CX-9 dials up on performance and cutting-edge safety features, while still preserving the characteristics of the original Mazda CX-9 that made it such a great vehicle in the first place. 2024 MAZDA CX-90 Preview: Performance
Appleton drivers have two engine options to choose from: a mild hybrid/gasoline 3.3L turbo inline-6 engine, and a plug-in hybrid train option, making the Mazda CX-90 the first-ever Mazda plug-in hybrid (pHEV). While the stats for the hybrid option are still unknown, drivers who prefer to stick to a traditional gasoline engine will be pleased to know that the inline-6 engine is estimated to have a high horse power output between 280 or 340 hp.
Both drivetrains come with 8-speed transmission, standard i-Activ AWD®, and Kinematic Posture Control for smooth and efficient handling when the Beaver Dam roads get unruly. Drivers also have the benefit of flipping between various driving modes, including Normal, Sport, Off-Road, and Towing.
2024 MAZDA CX-90 Overview: Safety & Technology
No matter the Mazda CX-90 you choose, each one comes standard with Mazda i-Activsense® l with an abundance of driver assistance features for peace of mind on Beaver Dam and Fond du Lac roads. Some of those features include lane-keep assist, lane departure warning, rear cross-traffic alerts, and more. Safety features aside, the 2024 Mazda CX-90 comes loaded with a generous amount of comfort and convenience features, including the following:
- Center Infotainment Display: Options include the standard 10.25-inch display, or a 12.3-inch display–the largest Mazda display yet.
- Active Driving Display: Allows for better visibility when behind the wheel
- Mazda Connected Services: Includes a complimentary 3-year trial to Mazda Connected Services, which allows you for remote start, and more on the MyMazda App.
- Bose® Audio System: Available 12-speaker sound system for enhanced joyrides
- Wireless Charging: For easy charging on-the-go
