For many, Labor Day signals the end of summer. Sounds like the best time to have some fun! You can go to a water park or even a state park, but we may have a better solution. Check out our Labor Day 2019 weekend events near Fond du Lac, WI. We know we can provide a great way to say goodbye to August and hello to September.

CELEBRATION AND PARADE

Location: Lakeside Park

Any holiday in Fond du Lac means it’s time to head down to Lakeside Park. The parade begins at Rees and Main Street and travels north on Main Street to Scott Street, with the picnic in the park starting at 12 p.m. There will be food, there will be activities, and there will be fun.

PICNIC AND CAR SHOW

Location: South Park
City: Oshkosh, WI

Every year on Labor Day, South Park wakes up for a car show and a picnic. This year is special though because South Park has been entirely renovated. More work is yet to be done, but the park has never been so beautiful. There will be raffles, free books for children, and affordable food.

CALUMET COUNTY FAIR

City: Chilton, WI

It’s a county fair, and it’s not that far away! Head up to Chilton and enjoy a full carnival, bizarre fair food, music, events, and more. Since the fair is going all weekend, you will have plenty of time to stop out and see what the Calumet County Fair has to offer over Labor Day weekend.

FLEA MARKET

Are you looking for the perfect antique? Then head out to the Originals Mall of Antiques for a wonderful flea market. Be sure to come early. There’s always something for everybody but those hidden treasures and special gems have a habit of getting snatched up early.
